Something distinctly Reggie Perrin about this one........hope he came safely back again!! Leading lines are lovely and I am enjoying the land in the distance on the horizon too.
@hermann I love living by the sea, it has taken a few moves to find this idyllic place.
@helenhall You could walk right off the end of the jetty. The Council demolished the previous jetty because it was unsafe apparently and replaced it with this one where people could potentially just walk straight into the sea. That's Council logic for you.
@casablanca I used to love Reginald Perrin. David stopped before the end of the jetty though.
The land in the distance is Winda Woppa and Jimmy's Beach on the other side of the bay. Our bay here is a kind of horseshoe shape.
This is a perfect example of when to break the rule of thirds and put your subject smack in the middle of everything. I has a great sense of balance and the strong leading line of the dock with David at the point where it meets the fishing spot is perfect in drawing us directly into the picture.
