Yesterday was the first day of summer in Australia and last night I walked down to the beach to catch the sunset. I just love the colours of the sky and reflections on the water.
Today we have been out for another lunch with David's railway enthusiast friends and their wives. Had a lovely lunch at the wharf, thankful for the sun umbrellas and the breeze from the ocean because the temperature reached 37 degrees C (98 f) today. I believe it is forecast to be cooler tomorrow so wonder if we are heading for a storm this evening.
I think this would be a very helpful and soothing place to walk. Such lovely views and the colours here are gorgeous. Many times I wish I didn't live in a town centre!
Your beautiful world & how lucky you are to be in walking distance of this lovely place. Here hoping fir a lovely long hot summer but with rain at night!
@casablanca The beach is always my go to place when I need time for myself.
@happypat Cyprus was just how you mentioned in your comment. It didn't rain from April to November and then in winter when it did rain the weather was usually beautiful during the day and rain at night as you said. We only ever had a handful of days out there where the rain set in for the day.
(When I want to sell it I`ll remeber you.)
Our second day of summer was spent at a lovely restaurant overlooking the ocean, with good friends. Two things we all need in life is a beach to walk and on and friends to share your life with. Who could ask for more.
