love the pier and how is takes you down to the sea. oh that blue sky. please send some over here.. my nephew is over from Australia .left all this sun for damp and drizzle. he is getting married next month though
@quietpurplehaze I think the wooden boards are bleached by the sun.
@casablanca Thanks. I have been putting the book together a bit at a time for a while, but need a few days to finish it now because I haven't had chance to work on it for a couple of months and now that the year is at an end and I can add the last of the photos I really need to get cracking.
@brennieb I will gladly send you some clear skies at the moment, we desperately need some cloudy days because the sun has nowhere to hide behind at the moment and it is so hot.
It will be a bit of a shock to the system for your nephew to leave an Australian summer for a UK winter. The last time I was in the UK was in 1994 and in springtime, the temperature was 4 degrees c in Manchester and I froze. Never been back since, ha ha.
@happypat Yes we did walk to the end and it was lovely to see a couple of dolphins swimming by and we saw a turtle too.
That jetty looks never ending! Thanks for the reminder about the photo books, I did start my 2010 one way back when you helped me out with it but didn't get any further
Loved your comment on my Mrs. Cardinal picture, the one about her 'lipstick'. :)
@dide @pcoulson @beryl @sangwann @quietpurplehaze @bella_ss @cutekitty @lyndamcg @louannwarren @merrelyn @henrir @paul10 @jenp @jacqbb @lyndemc @craftymeg @seattlite Thanks. It is a long jetty and this isn't at the start of it either. There were too many people standing at the beginning of the jetty where it is much wider and I didn't want them in the picture.
