Until you realise your daughter has suck it all into her coat pocket to bring home, leaving sand everywhere :D It is a lovely collage Babs. Glad to see it is natural treasure and not left by man :)
@paul10 Ha ha I remember things like that happening when our girls were young too. Our daughter brought home a collection of shells from the beach and put them on the coffee table. It wasn't long before we realized that they were moving and discovered that we had a collection of hermit crabs.
@paul10@dide no hermit crabs were killed. We lived by the sea in Cyprus at the time and the crabs were returned to the wild.
No, I kept the sandals on this day because there were lots of rocks. The heart shaped stone is pumice.
Great collage, of these beachcomber objects. I have had a similar hermit crab experience. I picked up a lovely shell and had it on my bathroom sink. Couldn’t work out who was moving it every morning. It was released back to the sea once I worked it out

@chimfa The bottom left is pumice, I loved the heart shape of it too.
@ludwigsdiana I think it depends which beach you are walking along, some of our beaches just have sand but this beach had lots of treasures.
@sangwann Getting down is easy, it is getting back up again that's the problem.
@louannwarren I think the bottom middle one is some sort of palm seed.
@yorkshirekiwi ha ha glad it was saved and released back into the wild.
@quietpurplehaze I thought of you when I saw it. I think it is coral along with a couple of the ones above it and to the right of it too.
Great collage of all your finds
