I was going to have a quiet day today but a friend phoned to see if I wanted to go and see the movie The Mule this afternoon.
We don't usually go to the cinema more than once in a week, but as I will be out of action for a couple of days next week when I will be in hospital, I said 'Yes' and glad I did.
Enjoyed the movie and it was nice and cool in the cinema.
Still boiling hot here and no rain in sight. The only thing is, when we came out of the cinema the heat hit us and we frazzled until we got to my air conditioned car.
This is another photo taken at the Arboretum in Canberra and I thought black and white worked well again with the patterns of the ceiling. Tomorrow I will post another photo of the ceiling and then I will be finished with my Canberra photos. You will probably be fed up of them by then anyway, ha ha.
Wonderful capture of the ceiling - it works so well in b/w - repeated patterns ,light and shade . Best wishes for next week - hope all goes well for you !
What a fabulous ceiling that is, makes a great photo. Don't know The Mule, we've just come home from seeing The Favourite. I can't imagine why on earth that film has had rave reviews and Academy Awards. In a word 'WEIRD'.
@golftragic@kjarn A few people I know weren't raving about The Favourite either.
The Mule is good, about an 80 year old drug mule and not what you expect it to be. Clint Eastwood is The Mule and it is based on a true story about Leo Sharp if you want to look him up.
Another good movie in my opinion too was Green Book also based on a true story.
