What a difference a day makes. Today is the first day of winter and it has bucketed down with rain all day. The first rain we have had in over a month, so much needed.
I went out this afternoon to take some photos through the windscreen of the car in the pouring rain. Didn't get out of the car because it has only reached 14 degrees c today.
This is a picture of The Boatshed at Little Beach through the windscreen. I think it looks quite nice on black.

@rjb71 Yes I remember summer in the UK and don't miss it at all. Although cold today we don't have winter every day in Australia ha ha, we do have warmer days too.
It has created a great effect Babs. I'd love to try this, but first we need some rain. Our May was the 2nd driest on record and we're still having temps in the mid 20s.
A great photo showing your rather wild windy weather....your turn I think Babs but knowing where you live it could be hotter with you in winter tomorrow than it is here in summer!

@kjarn Heard about the water restrictions on the news. This is the first rain we have had for 4 weeks and not much before then either.
