I am posting early today because I am pretty busy clearing out kitchen cupboards. Isn't it amazing just how much junk you keep past its use by date!
A while ago I took a photo of street art in one of the laneways in Nelson Bay and then forgot about it. It wasn't until a couple of weeks ago when I was in Nelson Bay again and saw the artist Rhys Fabris working on the other end of the laneway that I remembered about this photo.
I asked if I could take a photo of him working on the artwork and he agreed. We had a bit of a chat about his paintings and I discovered that he lives in Anna Bay and has been commissioned to paint more walls in and around the Anna Bay area too. I saw him again the next day and took another photo. I will post those photos tomorrow, but for now here is the first part of his painting in the laneway.
You really do stumble across some amazing street artists, eh? This is super. Trust your kitchen cupboards are all up to date and gleaming and no pre-war tins of Spam left in there!!
@julzmaioro That's the problem with street art is that someone always wants to tag it. Rhys did tell me though that this artwork is going to have a protective coating on it so that if anyone does tag it, then the scribble can be removed.

All his artworks are of local flora and fauna so I hope to find more over the next few weeks.
@casablanca Kitchen cupboards are all looking good now. All pre-war foods have been thrown out.
@robz Thanks Rob. I don't very often resort to domestic duties in my daily activities, must have been the medication. I think I am on the mend now.
