Australasian Darter by onewing

Australasian Darter

It has been so hot today I can't decide whether this darter is drying off his wings or just trying to cool down.

I think today has been our hottest day this Spring and I believe we are in for another hot day tomorrow. 35 degrees c in Spring is a bit too warm, I wonder how hot it is going to be when we get to summertime.
I don’t think I’ve ever heard of these before. What a beauty! Great capture.
