We have been away for the weekend in the Southern Highlands to celebrate my friend Jo's 80th birthday.
I didn't take many photos while we were away because we spent most of the time with Jo and her family.
We did go to Berrima first though and I took this photo of a pub there which is the oldest continuously licensed inn in Australia. The Surveyor General Inn was built in 1834 using convict labour and was licensed the following year.
I will fill in gaps today and hopefully will be able to catch up with 365 this evening if I can stay awake, ha ha. We have had a busy weekend.
@annied It was about 9 am when I took this photo and it was bloody freezing. Temperature went down to 4 degrees during the night, we were the only ones daft enough to be out in the cold, ha ha. I wasn't expecting the Southern Highlands to be so cold at this time of year. Maybe I should have taken my thermals with me. I am thawing out again now we are home.
@pcoulson No kidding Peter. It was freezing. Not used to this at all. We left home and it was 31 degrees c and for the temperature to drop to 4 degrees in the evening in the southern highlands was really drastic.
