Another treasure for the challenge is this camera that belonged to my Mum.
She was given it just after the war because somewhere along the line she and other nurses sent food parcels and coffee to prisoners of war on behalf of the Red Cross.
She was given this camera by one chap who met up with her on his return to the UK after spending two years in a prison camp in Germany.
It probably can take beautiful images using 120 film if you want to give it a try. Because the top shutter speed is 100 and max aperture is F 7.7, you will need to shoot a slow film like Ilford Pan F 50 or Rollei RPX 25. 120 film is available on BH Photo. If you shoot a roll of black and white and want me to develop and scan it for you, I am glad to do it. You will need to meter independently and you can use your phone and a light meter app for this. Meter for the shadows, set the camera and shoot. It is probably zone focus, so you will need an understanding of depth of field. Another option is to shoot 100 speed film on a sunny day and use "sunny 16" rule. Take care on sun angle, there is no lens hood. Before taking the plunge open the back of the camera with the bellows extended in darkness and shine a flashlight into the bellows from the rear. Look for light leaks in the bellows.
@wakelys Yes it still works. David took some photos with it a couple of years ago and they were lovely.
@sangwann I don't think he was an admirer, he knew my Mum's first husband who was killed in 1942 when he was in the RAF. They were in the same unit together.

@swillinbillyflynn Good that your camera is still working too.
@kvphoto Look forward to seeing your old cameras. I have a friend who collects old cameras and he has hundreds of them in his 'man cave'
@brotherone Thanks for the info. David is the proper photographer in our family and he has taken lots of photos with this camera over the years.
