On our way home from Adamstown a couple of weeks ago we stopped at Mayfield to take photos of the street art.
Thanks for your comments and favs on yesterday's street art by Olas One (aka Nick Stuart).
Today's artwork is on the wall of Mayfield Library. It is the work of airbrushing artist Mel Carrall. Mel is based at Lochinvar in the Hunter Valley and has a few commissioned artworks in the area.
Sorry I have been a bit absent the last couple of days. Had lots of medical appointments and tests. Should be able to catch up again now though.
@julzmaioro You will have to take some photos of your local artworks too.
@elatedpixie@granagringa Thanks. It was a long mural and I did take a photo of the whole thing but it was on an angle and even though I could see the whole mural I decided to take three photos square on too and when I got home I stitched them together in photoshop.. This is the result. Three photos stitched together. Hopefully you can't see the joins.
What a fantastic mural for a library! The artist has really captured some of the most beloved stories and characters of all time and blended them together flawlessly- as did you did with your stitching magic!

William Wordsworth would be proud of you. Why ? Because he was a romantic poet. ?
