Dolphin Watch - Nelson Bay

It has been a beautiful day today and it would have been an ideal day to go out on a dolphin watch in the bay.

@eyesmile Thanks Gena. We only go on dolphin watches if we have visitors generally. You can walk along the beaches here and see dolphins swimming by quite regularly. Yes it is fall here. the temperature is still around 80 degrees F though.

@angelar Did you mean on a dolphin watch? If so, no, we only generally take visitors on the dolphin watches. We only have to walk along the beaches here and we see dolphins swimming by quite regularly. We do go on whale watches though as those boats go out through the heads and we see whales at certain times of the year when they travel north from Antarctica to give birth and then back again with their young later in the year.

@onewing I'm so jealous! We're holidaying in Canada again this year and we did some fantastic whale watching there 4 years ago. We do hope we will be as lucky again!

Lovely and calm. The people on the boat give a good perspective on the size of the boat. Bigger than I first thought.

@kathiecb Thanks Kathie. Both boats are dolphin watch boats, but the Moonshadow (the big one) does trips out to the islands too.
