Earlier this month I posted a flower I didn't know the name of and was told it was a gazania. I photographed that one in a neighbours garden and have only ever seen gazania's growing wild along the waterfront and those are always yellow.
Today's flora photo is of one of the wild variety. I am amazed how these beautiful flowers grow in almost pure sand with no watering at all. Just the occasional rain keeps them going.
