Took Kate and the dogs down to Southgates beach. So nice for the dogs as there was no-one around, so had a lovely run off the lead.
The only edit on this one was to add my name. Wish I had been a bit further back, there is the beginnings of a lovely reflection in the water. Oh well, we'll walk them again, and I;ll be thinking about reflections!!

I recognise those building in distance. I slept in those dunes once years ago

You have certainly been around! I'm sure many a young man have spent the night in the Southgates dunes! The buildings of course are the storage silos at the warf

I really like the Zig Zags of the water and the posture of Kate " I know you taking the shot , but barefeet and wet sand are winning here "

Feels so peaceful. I can hear the waves when I look at this shot.

Kate was a very good niece for walking in the water....it was freezing cold!! The day was beautiful, but I sure wouldn't have gone swimming!!
@megsy
Thanks Megsy, it was a glorious day
@nikkic
Thanks Nikki. This is a beautiful stretch of beach, often quite deserted, so good to take the dogs for a run.
@nikond40x

Thanks Sheila, it's a great beach to have a walk.
@glyn
ha ha, I did ask her to walk a bit in front of me for a photo! Was hoping to get the dogs in as well, but they were off exploring!!
@mturne1
It was peaceful, we walked for half an hour, and only passed one other group, a couple of Dads playing in the sand with their kids.
