Was trying to sneak up on the bird, but he was not very co-operative. I snuck around behind a big tank and got a couple before he took off. The photo after this one was of clear blue sky!!

@onie - really? A million Australians would have called that a "top knot pigeon" in a flash.. they would also be wrong but that would not have stopped them....
Love that crest. It doesn't look like any of the birds we have here but I'm reading above that it is a dove. What a neat shot! He looks a bit surprised.

ha ha...I did call it a top knot!!! But figured that would be wrong, mind you by the time we left there were not too many around to ask!!
He was a bit worried about me getting closer!!
