Today I took the wrong turn and wound up...well, a little bit on the wrong side of the tracks! I ended up here at a place called Chicano Park in San Diego, CA. Its under the over pass of the 5 freeway and the Coronado Bridge. Its pretty amazing. All the freeway supports are covered with graffiti and art. So I grabbed my 40, wrapped my camera strap tight around my wrist and started shooting!
WOW - I used to live in San Diego and often went over the Coronado bridge. Wished I'd taken that wrong turn!! That is awesome!! Great photo opportunity!
What a great story and gorgeous capture. You were meant to take that wrong turn, Jerry!!!! Life is full of surprises...that must have been such a wonderful surprise. San Diego....I didn't realize you lived out there.... that is one of my favorite cities. Ahhhhhh.
very very cool!! I am terrible with maps so whenever I am in new place I always get lost - it never bothers me much as found few amazing places this way too....

Hey that's my hood.... you don't have to worry holmes... just get a spray tan and a pendleton next time you come down and I'll let you in for free eh esa?...>; ) there is some nice art work going on down there and you captured it well...
