Beetle

Simply, a shiny green little beetle! Its actually called a dung Beetle, they love to roll up horse and elephant poo in little round balls...no, really its true! :D

So pretty to have such a nasty habit. This photo is tremendous and I faved it. Love his differering tones of green in his shiny back and the background is terrific...I hope that is at tree or bark he is climbing...just sayin!

Pretty colours....we call them stink beetles because well it prob has something to do with their activities ith the poo! And they don't smell to flash when you squash them....think thats the poo been squashed out of them!! LOL!!!! Nice lil bit of bokeh back there to Jerryy!
