First of all I just want to say thank you to all of you! I feel like I haven't been the best 365er lately. I came back from vacation today and found a load of fun comments and my "sandman" was on the top 20! Thank you! Now its my turn to catch up with your masterpieces!
We had such a fun time! I wish all of you were there with me! This is a shot from an Ostrich farm we went to for Blakely's 7th birthday on the 28th. You can buy trays of feed and feed these things! It was crazy! They are so prehistoric looking and when they eat they peck so hard it knocks the tray right out of your hand! And they gang up on you too! The girls could not stop laughing! They really got a kick of seeing Dad get bit by one whilst snapping a shot!

What an awesome shot! I visited an ostrich farm in South Africa once and they said you could have an ostrich kiss and put a seed in my lips. It sure hurt when the things pecked it out, crazy idea (don't ever try it).

Wow, two faves in one day! This is awesome. She's so pretty with those long eyelashes! And your story made me laugh. I've gotten really behind on 365 too. My daughter and granddaughter have been visiting for two weeks and I wanted to spend every minute I could with them. We're just about to drive them to Boston and say goodbye, which is making me tear up just typing the words. Enjoy every minute with your beautiful girls. They grow up so quickly.
