Blackboard

I don't know why but I've really been into chalkboards lately! I know, crazy! We bought some chalk and some chalk pens and I made a big chalkboard that hangs in the kitchen! Me and the girls are having a lot of fun leaving messages and drawing our masterpieces! :)
This is a shot of some dying tulips laying on the blackboard. It was a slow photography day! :o)

Man, this just pops so well. Yay for chalkboards. When I became a teacher and the rooms started to move to dry erase boards, I pleaded to have a chalkboard left for me -- what other reason is there to teach than to have a great big chalkboard to scribble, draw, and communicate with? Blackbds are good-got mine few months ago from HobbyLobby---I used it for practising my illustrations-just messy because of the chalks :)---love the shot,btw.

It came out great. I am so old, I had a chalkboard when I started teaching. Then we gradually got the white Expo marker boards. Chalk was so messy.
