I see this little tag every day I drive my daughter to school! I've always wanted to get a pic of it but the problem is it's on a center dividing wall between lanes on a freeway! I figured, if the guy that painted it could get there, so could I! :o) I survived this shot with no cuts or bruises, only a hand full of horns honking and a few delightful comments screamed out of car windows! Fun stuff! :)
Oh, what we do to get that shot!! I love how you captured it with all the grittiness around it. They must do this with a stencil, and very quickly. I wonder if she appears in other parts of the city.

Thanks for the kind comments today, Jerry. I appreciate it! I probably won't be able to participate in the one night stand this time around, which is disappointing. I need to get back to photographing something other than fire-related scenes, but figure it may take some time. Thanks for your empathy in commenting today.
