Its been a little stormy here lately! Yesterday we had 10 ft waves so I packed up my gear (including my plastic bag and rubber band, Thanks guys!) and headed to the ocean! I had a hard time getting at sea level with the waves plashing everywhere so I took some shots from higher ground! I couldn't capture the size of these things but maybe next time!
Beautiful shot! I haven't followed you long, and didn't realize you're in San Diego. My brother lived there for a year so I got the tour. What a gorgeous place. I now understand why people are willing to risk falling off the edge of the country to live in California! ;)
@missvicki I got a lot of good tips from my last post! Get a plastic bag and put a hole in it large enough to put the end of the lens through. secure it with a rubber band and viola!
@lorihiro Lol! Thanks, Lori! The salty air was really blowing and not thinking I changed my lens out there! I hope I don't have a salt collection on my sensor now! :o)
Cool shot, looks a bit like a painting, love the rain have to fav it for you being brave enough to take your camera out in it even if it is supposedly waterproof :)
Wow, great capture of the rain, though they say it never rains in Southern California! :) I'm loving our weather, and I love this photo of my drenched hometown, so it's a FAV for me!
The things we do for a good shot sometimes - yours definitely paid off. :) great mood to this and love how sharp the rain looks and makes you feel - I get goosebumps from how hard it seems to be coming down. Love it!
jerry this is KRAZY awesome! how could i not fav this!!!! the rain looks amazing, and i love the moodiness of this shot....those blue and greyish tones are amazing. Awesome job!
That rain was wicked yesterday! You really captured it well Jerry! The plastic bag & rubber band worked really well!
@lorihiro Thank you so much, Lori! ;)
