We're out this weekend packing it full of fun before the girls go back to school next week! While we were out we stopped by the ocean to take a breather and watch the sunset...and take some pics, of course!

this is a very lovely shot, Jerry! and very a propos... because we've been paired for the "get pushed" challenge this week, and my challenge to you is street photography... in your intro to year 2, you say you want to work more on street... and i've noticed a few street shots here and there, but only a few... and of those, many were taken from fairly far away (more than 100mm focal length)... why not try for something a little closer? i'm not suggesting you get in anyone's face - just do some street photography with purpose... walk around, see what's going on, and get some shots... :)
I can feel the sun's warmth. It's still very much Winter here and I'd be grateful if the clouds broke up just a bit.
For the street challenge above, if you don't already follow Richard Tyson, have a look at his pics. How he gets away with most of them and gets to keep his camera, I don't know. He always uses a 50mm lens.
The golden hour. This is just so serene and beautiful. Who wouldn't want to be there? You're so blessed to live close enough to visit anytime you want. Love it, Jerry! Fav.

It is real tranquility! Nice sunset shot on the ocean beach! As I looked at it I just remembered Chris Rea's 'On the Beach' and played it on my phone. Fav!
