Yesterday I took the girls to Hemet California to visit Grandma! Hemet is something of an armpit but it does have a ton of photo ops! My Mom has been checking out 365 for months now and I keep trying to get her to join in! Funny, she knows more of what's going on around here than I do! :o) She thinks there is nothing to shoot in Hemet so I had to stop on the way home and show her some beauty around her! This one is for you Mom, Hemet CA! :)
I want to thank everyone for the amazing comments and fav's on my "Take cover" shot! I am so excited and thankful! I'll be visiting all your work and commenting to try to give a little back! You guys are awesome! Love you all! :)
@vskolnik Thanks, Vee! If you only could have seen behind me and beside me you would change your mind! :o) I always say, the only thing that matters is what's in the viewfinder! :)
@orangecrush All the more reason that it's a great pic! I've been there a few times....I grew up San Gabriel Valley (Baldwin Park/armpit) so I know what you mean:). It is what it is!!!
Beautiful! I live nearby (I'm in Moreno Valley/Riverside). I need to look around the next time I visit my brother in Hemet. I love the colors and the reflection on the tracks create such beautiful leading lines.
Gorgeous. It's funny when looking at the tracks how they don't seem to be perfectly straight... without that light you wouldn't notice it. Nicely done, indeed.
@ozziehoffy I know, I thought the same thing! I think these are just really old and unused. Taking a trip in a train on these and you could jar your dentures loose!
This is a lovely shot. Have been to Hemet...our RVing adventures have taken us there in the winter. There are some lovely areas around there...will have to look closer next time I am there.
Well if this is an armpit then my town's a...no, I best not say as this is a family site ;o) Gorgeous as per, but then you can make an armpit a pretty sight xx
Oh and fav!
