I don't grow poppies

But this year, some have decided they are going to put that right.

I'm not sure where they have come from. Time after time I have bought a poppy plant and set it in a bed in hope. But never in this main rose bed.

There is no perfect time to leave a garden - I hope these will still be blooming when I get back from my latest adventure.
