They'd dipped their feet in the water but it was so cold they sat on the little bridge and chatted.
I dropped my camera and the lens fell off and broke! The children were all sad for me. And I'd planned the tree shot for 30 shots challenge on the way back. Later I thought I should have done some freelensing at the tree, but I guess I was too angry with myself for breaking the lens than think of anything else. Luckily the body is okay and I have a 50mm lens I can use.
Oh no! Such a shame about the lens...but now you get to buy a new one ;)
This is a great shot too - love the reflections and it works really well on black
@graemestevens I've got my camera 10 years now and was thinking it might be time for a new one, like really, really new :-) The only problem is eh.. the money!
I really like how their legs are dangling and are reflected in the water. So very sorry to hear about the broken lens. Glad that you have one you can use.
This is a great shot - ;love the reflections and the contrasting legs and feet.
So sorry to hear about the lens - and yes - the money is always the problem!
at first i thought they were jumping. sorry to hear about the camera. you never know, something might happen and you will have a new one. things happen for a reason, you know. aces on this shot!
A very nice look at a section. It tells a lot more than if the people were fully visible.
Too bad about the lens. Such an accident happened to me a few years ago.

Really great shot, though.
