Beryl Lloyd challenged me to post three landscape pictures for the next three days. This is the second one. It's above Capel Curig, looking towards the highest mountain in Wales, Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), 1085 meter high. It's taken a couple of days before I gave birth to my eldest son, now three and a bit.
I used a free preset from Photon Collective, Gluon DR.
Schitterende heuvels en een leuk dorpje. Prachtig gefotografeerd. Fav.
Mij country foto`s zijn gemaakt op een ( stervens kouwe (Haags) winderige dag. Met de auto erop uit dus.
Wonderful Saxa -- I love this one , great contours of the land with the little community nestling at the base of the hill !I love the way you have caught the sunlight on the mid distant hills and the glorious blue Snowdonia in the distance . A stunning landscape Saxa --- but then I am biased aren't I !! fav
@gratefulness yes, Wales is beautiful, and especially the forest are enchanting with all the different mosses on the trees and all those crooked branches make it like a world of its own.
@marniej03 it is, if you don't go to Snowdon itself, but to the hills and mountains around it, it's much quieter. I also love the Lleyn Peninsula. And I would love to see more of beautiful Scotland (I've only been to Isle of Skye, Isle of Mull, Edinburgh, bit of the Hadrian Wall just over the border with England).
