@365projectmarcus these are done in camera, my Nikon D90 has an option to do multi exposure (two shots or three shots). You can also do it in the post processing, for example in PicMonkey with the overlay tab (you can use the programs overlays or your own).

I've been experimenting with double exposures too @365projectmarcus - you could try pixlr.com as it's free, online and needs no download. Just make sure you save your work before you close the tab!
