Kissed by his shadow though. He's undergoing radio iodine treatment for his overactive thyroid and can't come near us for a month (mainly our young children) as he's radio active. He'll sneak in at night, have some food and a chat and then leaves again. The children think he's working away.
He makes me laugh!
Get pushed from Kali to capture quality time for you and your husband with either a portrait together, or some memento of something you do for each other this week.
I had another idea too, but can't pull it off until he is back with us. It's in the little things. He'll make me a fresh cup of coffee with lovely fluffed milk. I'll give him the biggest slice of cake.
@kali66 here we are, very natural, I have an etsooi-ed version of this, but decided to go with the natural one as I feel it fits us and our relationship better.
What a precious photo of the two of you and such an interesting back story! Wishing him the very best, and I'm sure you'll looking forward to Christmas when you can be a family again!
It's a lovely take! A really heart-warming photo :) I wish your husband the very best! And I hope the treatment goes well for him :) Have a nice day! :)
I must fav this Saxa, I love the thought for this photo, but your expression... and the amazing words. So special. It IS the little things!!! I hope he doesn't have to do this for too long.
Ha, this is so funny! I've been through the treatment twice, and had to stay away from my kids too. I hope he gets his energy back quickly, and all is well.
@888rachel twice?! Thought the radio iodine 'killed' the thyroid and you'd be on life long medication to 'simulate' the thyroid. Must have been quite difficult to be away from your children.
@overalvandaan I think for most people it works with one application. Because I had cancer of the thyroid, they had to make extra sure. My first dose was when my firstborn was 5 days old. Not my fondest memory of that time, but it's all ok now, so it was worth it.
