Borth y Gest by overalvandaan
I love this image!! Such wonderful composition - it's hard to know whether to admire the cluster of buildings and the trees - or the amazing boats stuck in the mud!

@robz thanks Rob! This morning when bringing the children to school (in this village), I saw four builders in half a circle, backs facing me talking about the job ahead (it seemed). I thought that's the shot I want for my get pushed, but I didn't have my camera or phone with me! I came back just before picking up the children again, hoping the builders would still be there, but alas. So took some pictures of the harbour instead.

Beautiful landscape and it works well in black and white.

@overalvandaan Drat - that's sound like it would have been so good. I'll look forward to the alternative that you mentioned in your other post. And what a beautiful little village to live near - it must be a wonderful place to bring up kids. :)

Fav. view and capture ( Het herinnert me aan de tijd dat ik op Gr.Br. voer. Droogvallen bij laag water was heel gewoon.)

The harbor looks so large when the tide is out. I really do like this PoV.

This is so beautiful!! FAV!

This has a melancholy feel to it. The harbor has no water, so the boats are "stranded". There is no shrubbery or decoration on the outside of the buildings and they stand huddled together. The hills/mountains in the background appear to be deforested and bare. That being said, a nice composition.

Love this, the huddle of homes, the bare looking hills & the stranded boats....my eyes keep shifting from one to the other...

Spreek jij de taal? Mooie foto

@tstb13 tipyn bach; klein beetje, maar ik vind het niet zo'n makkelijke taal om te leren. De scholen hier in Gwynedd zijn Welsh sprekend.

Very nice!

Your photo looks so sad, perhaps because you processed it in black and white, I am sure during the summer the scenery would come alive
