Fly/bee/wasp morph?

Seems that the bugs in my garden have identity issues... or perhaps it's me with issues identifying! lol... they seem to be crosses between different ones though! If you're able, I'd suggest to view large :)

@onie oh no!! We must have a lot of bugs cos even with all the cane toads and frogs they're still in quite an abundance lol. Oh so a day after birth she's back to her former self huh... pffft biatch! haha... any pics of her and/or eggs?

Nowadays Azalea and Rhododendrons are botanical the same classification , They all are Rhododendrons

Identity issues! LOL! I thought it was hover fly, but their eyes sometimes seem to be faceted with hexagonal planes on them.....very very cool pic! Fav

it's a male marmalade hoverfly - Episyrphus balteatus - I took masses of pictures of them last summer and realised I was looking at several versions
