Almost missed this guy, lovely green grasshopper... I startled him and then he in turn, startled me by jumping in front of me... so I sat down quietly and waited to see what he was going to do... he stuck around, climbed up a bush to get to the higher vantage point of this bromeliad and then sat in the late afternoon sun :) I've tried to get shots of this type before but never been right light or good position... mind you, this wasn't the best either cos it hurt my knee lol!
