I love the rays in this shot and the way it bounces and reflects on the edges of some of the petals. Actually, from memory (don't quote me here), I think their actually leaves too... I can't remember now and without going out into the freezing night to read the tag, I can't google it either!

We have a bank of these in our yard. Every year these little white 'flowers' bloom for about 4weeks, it looks like they have snow on them, then thay go brown, die, you cut them back, they sprout green leaves for the bulk of the year, then the wjole process starts again
You pic is just beautiful. Beats the crap out of the ones I took the other day. I am totally inspired to get out and do a retake!

@kamb Karen, that's the one!! They do look like snow :) Mine is about 6ft high/round now! Was such a tiny thing when I put it in but they grow fast once they settle in!! Thank you... I'll have to check it out when you do your retake :)
