Not the sharpest photo I have ever taken but you can see that it is a Kingfisher. Really pleased to find another location where there appear to be a couple of these glorious birds.
Great to get one in flight as they are just so fast! Well done you and exciting that you've found another location. I seem to have frightened them away as Sarah said she sat for over 6 hours and only managed to get some distance shots.
@rosiekind yes but guess what as we were packing up. Poor Sarah has some bad luck, seems to be getting to popular so I will give that venue a rest. I do know where there a re more so am doing some walking research.
