Well managed to get out yesterday and walked 16km along a river bank looking for the elusive Kingfisher. According to some very helpful fishermen they are around, usually a pair they think but I had no luck seeing them although it did look to me like ideal territory. Anyway I stopped to have a snack and this little fellow popped up, so close large lens useless. have a look at my other album to see how close he was.
