Kingfisher-best on black

First fine day for a while so @pixiemac and I ventured into Hertfordshire looking for Kingfishers. Seeing them was not a problem today but a small bird can cover a lot of river quickly, two humans plus cameras and very muddy conditions cannot. Anyway after 4/5hours and 6km we captured pictures of the Female when she decided she had time to rest for us. Dedicated to @creampuff just to show what a big lens can do in the right light and with a monopod.
Awesome, I completely failed with my shots on this stick!
@creampuff told you @padlock was good at KF shots!

@will_wooderson Hi William, I will certainly try what you are now seeing is the result of walking many streams/rivers since June 2015.
