I have to say it did take a while to get a good shot. They fly so darn quick, hard to focus but finally after many shots I got a few.

Yes, capturing flying things is tough; this one looks great. I found I started having greater success with even faster shutter speeds. I now have my shutter speed defaulting to 1/3200 s when I am attempting flying shots with my long lens....of course, the light needs to be there.

@pixiemac -- where was this taken, in the UK or in Iceland? Either way, I'm definitely interested in a trip in 2018. I will be living in Poland until mid June so Ryan Air/Wizz Air is a quick (and cheap) hop.
