The wat sits amongst art shops and stone sculptures and houses a rehabilitation and learning centre for the blind run by Maryknoll, a Catholic mission outreach organisation. The centre teaches, among other skills, Shiatsu massage and helped launch Seeing Hands, massage by Blind Cambodians, one of the most successful examples of an NGO-initiated project becoming self-sustaining.
