Daintree

photo 510
We went up into the Daintree forest for a night like we did last year but didnt manage to see a cassowary this time http://365project.org/palusami/365/2010-07-29 , although everyone else seemed to. We stayed in a gorgeous little house, "Saraswati's Oasis" which we wont hesitate to come back to when we come back. It rained just about the entire time- it is a rainforest after all- but that didnt stop us eating organic ice cream, going for critter spotting walks, croc spotting on the Daintree River (awesome to see crocs in their natural environment) and zip lining ( again) with Jungle Surfing Canopy Tours. It is such a unique environment both times we have visited it has only been for a night but each time I find myself wanting more time.

LOL way to say it like it is! Sounds like you are having an amazing time. I think Emmett might be going here as I know he is going to go croc watching. Not sure about the zip lining but he did do some repelling.

thank you so much for sharing this! I went to the Daintree over two years ago and had an amazing time, which included cracking up laughing about this sign. I didn't take a picture of it, so it's so lovely to see it here and be reminded of the lovely time had...!
