I put the bird food out yesterday - meal worms and suet pieces - I like to feed the blackbirds and my little robin so the food is on the garden wall rather then the hanging feeders. By the time I got back indoors my little robin was there and he brought his mate too. I will try to capture both robins together but they are very quick!!
It wasn't long before the starling gang arrived plus a big fat wood pigeon and there was chaos with fighting over the food. Always fun in the garden.
Lovely Pam. Harry has a new bird table/ hanging feeder but I think it’s too far away….. I can’t see the birds properly. Someone told him if it’s soo near the decking rats may come & nest under said decking….that’s farmers talk I think….we aren’t on a farm now! We were bothered by starlings too when we put ground feeders down. We will get it right one day….
