7th February 2015 - Turn the Screw

This is for my Mentoring/Critique Group - our theme this week is Macro B&W,

Another shot of the corkscrew.

Also for Flash of Red

@taffy @newbank @888rachel @golftragic Last B&W macro from me. Any thoughts on what our next topic could be?

Great close up.

Another good one with the corkscrew -- a good eye for the gears and all the curves associated with them. Very pleasing to the eye!

Fabulous detail. You've excelled at our macro month. My suggestions for next would be... Landscapes, still life, food..... Or more a challenge where we can choose our own subject and type of photography but have to think about the various points of view we can get from the our chosen subjects. In an attempt to push us to really look at what we photograph? Bascially the same location/ object/ person etc but do say three views and see how that changes we see in the resulting image? @taffy @golftragic @888rachel Just my suggestions

Love the complexity of the subject.

Really nice dof, I love how you have captured the nice shapes. I'm not sure about the next challenge. Maybe we should confer on email and see if we can get everybody on board?

Another great shot of an essential household item. Love it.

@newbank @taffy @pamknowler @888rachel I think your suggestion of same subject three ways is just terrific Ruth. Gets my vote. The worst of the medical madness is done with soon, so I should be able to pull my weight this time.
