I found a little clump of these lovely flowers under a bush in my garden. The flowers were all facing down to the ground and it was only when I lifted the head did I see how beautiful they are. I had to pick one to get a photo of it.
Many thanks for your lovely comments on yesterday's shots - very much appreciates as always!!
Wow just woke up to see this on th PP! How lovely! Many thanks for getting it there!
How lovely! It seems a shame to cut them but I agree they never really get appreciated otherwise. On the BBC in pictures there is a picture of lots of Hellebore flowers floating in a bowl of water to show off their 'faces'. Great idea eh? Fave!
With this sort of flower you have to lie on your back and focus above your head to get a natural shot! You see the beauty better when you can put it somewhere to get the right light and background!
@maggiemae They are growing in a corner at the top of my steps up to the top level of garden - no room to lie down!! It is really dark under the bushes - I am surprised they can grow there.
Aren't hellebores marvellous Pam? We have lots of them in our garden and they provide lovely colour during the winter months. I've been thinking of you and Barbara a lot, hope you're getting the telepathic hugs.
This really is beautiful. So lovely on the black background. Well done Pam. I'll have to go have a look at mine...I couldn't seem to get a good pov. Congrats on PP as well!
