If anyone has ever tried to capture a puffin flying they will know just how difficult it is. They are so small and fly so fast it is so hard to focus on them. I was watching this puffin on the cliff (yesterday's shot) and he suddenly jumped off and flew out to sea. I just snapped away thinking I was too slow to react. But I did catch him - sadly as he flew behind the grass in front of me on the edge of the cliff. Even though it's a bit blurred I am soooo pleased to have caught him flying!! High ISO so a bit noisy too!!
Many thanks for all your fabulous comments and Favs on yesterday's shots putting all three on the PP!! WOW three from the same day - so pleased!!
@maggiemae thank you so much for that Maggiemae! I was so disappointed about the clarity that I hadn't really looked at the shot as a whole! I love your phrase "dreamy work of art"! You made my day!
When I came to your site, I landed here first, but got distracted to look at the ones that made PP! This is so deserving as well! Knowing what you just told me, I have even more respect for your ability! And what a gem of a bird for our gorgeous photo! ♥
@Weezilou Thanks so much Louise I am so pleased you like my shots!! Thanks for visiting and commenting on my shots today - I really appreciate you taking the time!!
