Sad news yesterday my nephew Colin's dog Badger had to be put to sleep. He was in terrible agony with an injury to his back. He had an operation a few years ago but they could not put him through that trauma again. He was old - not sure how old as he was a rescue dog but he had a wonderful life with Colin and the family and was loved so very much. A sad day for us all.
Beautiful capture of the Blue Tit. So sorry to hear about Badger. My condolences to your nephew. Always so sad to have to say goodbye to a furkid. May happy memories help ease the pain of his loss.
So sorry to read about Badger but as you say he did have a wonderful life that may not have happened had Colin not befriended him all those years ago. Lovely bokehlicious capture :)
Wonderful shot of the bird Pam, very clever of you to get it so clear. So sorry to hear about Badger, we dog-lovers always get so close to our dogs that it hurts badly when things go wrong, or they get too old to enjoy life.

Beautiful little bird. I am so sorry to hear about Badger. It helps, I think, to remind oneself that an animal has a good life because of one's love and care.
