I thought I would show you the carved owl my sister bought me the other day. It was made last Saturday carved with a chainsaw!! I have given it another couple of coats of varnish to help preserve it against the weather. I took a few shots and it was only when I looked on the PC did I realise that Finlay had got into the shot!! He always wants to be the centre of attention!!

I think yesterday's bird photo may be a Dunnock formerly called a hedge sparrow. could be wrong though. I haven't lived in the UK for a very long time
