On Saturday I did the photoshoot for the Nick Dalmedo Band - Nick is my friend Phil's husband. Her description was that they were three old hippies and so it turned out to be.
Nick had arranged for us to go to the farm one of the other band members lived on. We had lots of ideas as I had been told there were lots of old buildings and a tractor etc.
Just as we were about to go to the farm the heavens opened and it rained heavily nearly all day!! So disappointing!! We managed to find one old open sided barn and the "lads" set up a stage area for them to perform. Nick wanted some shots of the band playing to use for advertising upcoming gigs.
As the grey sky was actually quite bright I used a flash gun off camera for fill in light.
This is one of the many shots I got. Such a fun morning and even though the weather was awful we managed to get some shots that I was pleased with and Nick really loved!!
That evening at their gig in Lichfield Guildhall a member on another band asked me to do a photoshoot of his band!! What fun!!
Sounds like you're on to something!! This is terrific - love the way the colors look - you did a nice job with the lighting in those miserable conditions.
