I am so disappointed that I am unable to upload any of the hundreds of shots I took today! An error has occurred on my IPad and I cannot get the pics to upload! Yes I am awake again at 2 am! I have just taken this bad shot out of my bedroom window with the iPad.
We have had a wonderful action packed day! Millennium Park and the Bean. A trip to the parking garage for shots of trains and finally light trails. So many shots- I just hope I can sort them out and not loose them.
Please excuse the quality of this shot.
Well, I applaud your attempt to get the best photo in for the day. Not an easy task at 2am! Hell, I wouldn't be able to fall out of bed let alone take a photo!
Since I'm sure you took this photo through a glass window, your photography skills are very evident, there's no glass glare or reflections in the photo! So pat yourself on the back and try to get some sleep. I'm sure there is an Apple Store in downtown Chicago, they will get your Ipad up and running!
I always love night shots, Great shot, Was thinking long exposer because of no people,, But then no light trails either, So I checked to see it was taken at 0.0667 sec.. Ok WOW! You are some place where people sleep at night.
Super shot! I hope you get that iPad fixed straight away (have you tried a different card?). Once the Apple peops get you squared away, get some nap time so you can enjoy lots more!
This is such a fantastic view that screams Chicago. The line of bridges and the Marina towers are iconic Chicago. I have to make sure I get some shots from your room before you go! If you will let me :)
@ukandie1 I saw that coming! Who wouldn't want to utilize the space while it's available!!! Pam, this is just wonderful and I so agree with Andie! A city never sleeps, and you're situated where you can be entertained at any hour! Lovely!
I had Ash come take a look...she worked in the Leo Burnett Building on the 25th floor which was one of those on the left. She says it's hard to pick it out at night, but she still works for them...out of the house here in CA!
@pamknowler I thought the same, but she said they look so much alike, she can't tell exactly. If you're along there with a local, they can tell you. It's been a very impressive company for her to work for!
