How could this not be my photo of the day? We were driving along the highway towards Trinity when I spotted something moving in a field. I thought it might be a moose as we had been keeping an eye out for one the whole way. So many signs saying beware of moose when driving - they can be very dangerous at night and cause many crashes running across the road. Anyway we did a quick "stop Ken" and Ken turned the car round and we went back. Of course it wasn't a moose but two ponies which Louise said were Newfoundland Ponies which she had been reading about. I said they did qualify as they were ponies and we were in Newfoundland!! LOL!! I have lots of shots as this pony made friends with Louise - he seemed very interested in her camera. Louise really is the horse whisperer!!
We have had a wonderful day and have seen lots of icebergs. In Trinity now for another day before heading back to St John's on Wednesday.
How could I not love this photo? Thanks for getting this,Pam! I can't be sure that my friend here didn't want to borrow the camera and join 365,but I wasn't willing to hand it over and made a trade for gingersnaps! She quite loved them! Given the AMAZING sights we saw today and all we did, that horse would be pleased she got top slot at the outset! To your followers, Pam, won't they love all else that we did?!
