Another day another BFF!! I was taking photos of icebergs when I heard a call and when I turned round there she was cuddling this huge Newfoundland dog!! Louise had found another friend whose name is Ronan. What a beautiful friendly dog he was!! I have some great captures of Louise cuddling him!! I would have loved to take him home with me. Finlay would love him!!

Many thanks for your great comments and Favs on my uploads. I hope you are enjoying my Newfoundland adventures with Louise and Ken!!
Love this photo you took of Ronan and me, Pam! Thank you for this! May I share a bit more of the back story? Ken had asked me to "pose" for a photo among the dandelions when I saw Ronan and his family get out of the car! All I could think was "Props have arrived!" Everyone needs to pose with a huge Newfoundland dog "when in Newfoundland"! His owner, Jim, had traveled with him from Toronto...that was another conversation of the day! Well, a lovely "moment" and Ken got pictures of both Pam and me with Ronan as well!
What a great photo! Love the Newfoundland doggies. We have had two in our neighborhood. So big and very sweet! I have a photo somewhere of my 5 pound Sophie standing next to a 200 pound Newfoundland named Buddy!
@gardenfolk That would be a pretty amazing photo!!! Two extremes for sure!
@golftragic They make my heart melt! Look at that face!!!
@elkereturns Think of the money to be made if someone just sat out there with their Newfoundland dog and took money to let crazy tourists like me pose with it! It would go toward the dog's hefty food bill, I'm sure! (I'd have paid, gladly!)
Had to fav this. Yep! You're all real Newfis now -- you've posed with a REAL native, even if it is a dog. Haha! @weezilou Louise, you seem to attract animals of all kinds and sizes. But have you guys seen a moose yet? We spent several weeks in ti province and never did see one!!
