My meal worms

Taken through the lounge window using my 70-200mm lens for a change. The birds are all fighting over the meal worms and the blackbird seems to have taken ownership of this cup full which I have placed on the table on the decking.

We've not had a single bird come to our feeder, all summer. Very discouraging! Hoping maybe for a few this autumn...not sure why they are avoiding our garden!
