Flowering Teasel by pamknowler

Flowering Teasel

For Rainbow2018 - Purple

The last day of the Rainbow month and I am finishing off with this teasel image looking down onto the top of the head. I am fascinated by these beautiful plants as they are beautiful throughout their life - pretty flower then spikey head. The birds especially the goldfinches love to get the seeds from the heads and I love to watch them feeding.

The final rainbow image. Now what shall I do for next month? Still not able to get out with the camera as my knee is making slow progress. Very frustrating!!

Many thanks for your lovely comments on my project - this has been a great month with a few on PP and one on TT - so wonderful to see my images there!!
Great image, love the PoV and crop

Beautiful! I love photos like this as you can see things that you can't see with the naked eye. Just look at all the little fuzzy hair! I love it! fav!

Sorry to hear your knee's still bothering you, hope the darned thing improves soon so you can be more mobile. Very frustrating to be hampered by one's bodily malfunctions.

Beautiful details and color! Sorry to hear you are being slowed down by your knee, must be very frustrating! A project idea I am thinking of doing is ordinary objects in an abstract way, or just mundane images done in an interesting way...could be something that can be done mostly from home.
